The Schrader AirAware TPMS Retrofit Kit is a hardwired kit that can be installed on vehicles not equipped with original-equipment systems. The stand-alone kits include a dash-mounted receiver display, four wheel-mounted transmitters that fit most wheel applications and installation instructions. The retro fit kit will continually monitor tire pressure and tire temperature in all four wheels and alert the drive with an audible warning at under-inflation of 25 percent or more. Monitoring of proper tire pressure will maintain vehicle performance and support safety as well as improve vehicle handling, reduce braking distances, lower the risk of hydroplaning, decrease tire wear, and improve fuel efficiency.
